In the library, we try to promote an ethos of mutual respect with each other when using the library space. This means that although low level conversation is permitted (apart from the silent study area on the 4th floor), students should be considerate of others who are studying in the library. In the silent study area please:
Please don't eat food anywhere in the library, covered drinks are allowed. These are all basic things, but together they can make a difference and help maintain a clean and respectful study space for all who use the library.
There are multiple study rooms available for students to book in the library at Spencer Dock. See here for more information.
The Library has four low distraction desks located in the silent study room on the 4th floor. These are individual seats specifically designed for students who may be easily distracted or have difficulty concentrating. Book a low distraction desk here.
