Changes to Past Exam Papers Database

For the month of January 2025, NCI past exam papers may be accessed via a Sharepoint site at the following link: https://studentncirl.sharepoint.com/sites/ExamPapersArchive/Past%20exam%20papers/Forms/AllItems.aspx

Students and staff will need to log in to access these papers, and the login info will match your NCI Single Sign-On credentials.

Sunday Study Spaces

For students who would like a space to study on Sundays, the study room beside the Student Support Hub on the ground floor of the Mayor Square building will be available 9am - 6pm. Student cards are required to access the building on Sundays.


Extended opening hours November 2024

From Monday 4th November 2024 to Friday 13th December 2024, the library will have the following extended opening hours: 

Monday to Friday: 

  • 4th floor: 8am to 8pm
  • 5th floor: 8am to 10pm
  • Saturday: 10am - 5pm
  • Sunday: CLOSED

LibChat will be available during the following times:

  • Monday - Friday: 9am - 8pm
  • Saturday: 10am - 1pm, 2pm - 5pm
  • Sunday: LibChat unavailable

Opening Hours Autumn 2024

From Monday the 16th of September 2024 until the winter holidays in December, library opening hours will be as follows:

  • Monday - Friday: 8am - 8pm
  • Saturday: 10am - 5pm
  • Sunday: CLOSED

  • Saturday: 10am - 1pm, 2pm - 5pm

Study rooms in Spencer Dock Library

We have a selection of Study rooms available for students to book in our new library at Spencer Dock. 

There are 4 rooms available to book for Group study on the 4th floor, and 4 on the 5th floor.

Room S4.01 on the 4th floor for larger groups of 12 students, book here
Room S4.08 on the 4th floor for groups of 4 students, book here
Room S4.12 on the 4th floor for larger groups of 8 students, book here
Room S4.13 on the 4th floor for larger groups of 8 students, book here

Room S5.06 on the 5th floor for groups of 6 students, book here
Room S5.08 on the 5th floor for groups of 8 students, book here
Room S5.09 on the 5th floor for groups of 6 students, book here
Room S5.10 on the 5th floor for groups of 4 students, book here

 

Outside of the Library, there are an additional two rooms on the 1st floor of the Spencer Dock building which may be booked for group study.
