Library Reports: Discovery Services

From 2018 on, there has been continued year-on-year increase in usage and engagement with EDS Discovery. This is apparent from the usage charts below giving details of sessions and searches for EDS Discovery from 2018 to 2021, from 2021 to 2022, and from 2022 to 2023.

From 2014 until 2016 there was a year-on-year increase in usage and engagement with the Summon discovery product. For the first 6 months of 2017 usage was up too. In July 2017 we changed to EDS discovery interface and usage and engagement increased even more. The first 6 months of EDS saw more user sessions logged than any full year in total of Summon.
