How many books can I borrow? How long can I keep them for?
Faculty/Staff may borrow 12 books for 6 weeks from the Main Lending Collection. Books may be renewed if they are not requested by another reader. The Library emails staff and students in relation to book requests/overdue notices using College Email Accounts. The Library also holds a small Desk Reserve Collection, which may not be removed from the Library.
The library maintains a small staff only collection of books. These books have a short loan period of one day. Any requests for longer term loans are at the librarian's discretion.
Where do I get DVD and training materials?
These are requested from the Library, may only be used for NCI Courses and are generally loaned for the duration of the class. These resources may not be held for extended periods and should be returned to the Library once class has finished. If you need to look at the resource in advance, please contact the Library to arrange this.
The library can arrange for inter library loans from participating academic libraries for books which we do not have in our catalogue.
