Databases

Introduction

The library subscribes to a number of online databases which host hundreds of thousands of academic articles, conference papers, reports, newspaper content and book reviews. All this content is free to you as a student of the National College of Ireland.

You may be asked to consult journal articles by your lecturers because they contain the most up to date academic material, which can be used alongside your textbooks. As the content in these databases is not freely available on the internet, you will need to use your NCI username and password in order to access them

This subject guide has been designed to be as easy to use as possible. You can navigate the guide using the menu tabs on top of each page.
